Personality Field:
Ryoma is cocky, arrogant and extremely proud, at least at first glance. He lives for tennis, or rather, he lives for the day he can best his father in tennis and after this is done, he plans on moving on with his life. He never really considered people who couldn’t play tennis as worthy of his time, which has leant him a lot of enemies, but he merely brushes this off, as he really can’t be bothered with most of humanity. Somehow, however, the regulars from Seigaku managed to sneak their way underneath his skin. After spending a couple of really intense months together with them, Ryoma realized that he actually cared about them, and cared deeply. Unsure what to do with those feelings, how to react, how to be, it didn’t take much to make him move back to the States, as he needed to revalue his feelings and his stand point towards humanity at large. There were people out there who accepted him for what and how he was, there were people out there that were below him in skill, but still managed to be far too loveable. It took Ryoma quite a while to come to the conclusion that he actually missed his friends, and that very word caused him to do a double take. Friends. As the invitation to the Tennis Camp came, Ryoma was still battling with his feelings, trying to decide whether it was for the best that he stayed in America, or if he ought to go back to Japan and meet up with everyone again. Ryoma lives after the principle that you’re always alone on the top, and unnecessary bonds to people tie you down, causing you to miss the top you’re striving for… But in the end, he did choose to come back to Japan.
